Wales steal the show at yesterday’s Cheltenham Under-18 Open Singles & Pairs Competition.
The tournament winner on a tie-break was Jack Mounty from Gilfach Bargoed BC in Caerphilly South Wales who collected a trophy and £250 from the event sponsor Becky Cassidy from Cellar Supplies. The other singles finalist was Alfie Holland from Avon BC in Melksham who won £125.

Local talent featured as a losing semi-finalist with Cheltenham’s Louie Hodges who together with last year’s winner George Clarke from Reading BC collected £50 each. The Pairs Plate final was won by Billy Flynn Pontrhydyfen BC in Port Talbot and Talen Gunter Merthyr West End BC who each received a trophy and £30 after defeating another Welsh pair Oliver Price and club mate Sophia Gunter from Merthyr West End BC.
