The 8th Cheltenham Open Singles Tournament attracted 64 bowlers from as far away as Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and S, Wales. Neil Hope from Holwell Sports BC Leicestershire won the event receiving a £1000 cheque from Club President Peter Jones. The Runner Up was Mark Royal from Borough of Eye BC who collected £400 with losing semi-finalists Michael Cox (Cheltenham BC) and Paul Sharman (Carterton BC) each receiving £200; losing QFs Lee Williamson, Anthony Cotton, Jack Williams (all Cheltenham BC) and Owen Kent (Sleaford BC) completed the £100 prize winners.
